Hi, I’m Sam. I’ve always carried a lifelong desire to create and steward beauty. My photography journey began a serendipitous encounter with a vintage film camera. With many redirections along the way, I’ve always found myself coming back to a camera, curating and capturing moments of my everyday life. I truly believe I wasn’t ready to create this offering for people until now– because I wasn’t ready to be seen as a photographer, so I wasn’t ready to allow others to be seen. In 2023, I realized I was ready to bring this passion to others– not just as a photographer, but as someone who sees and celebrates the beauty in every stage of life. I am a mother and wife, priceless titles that inform much of who I am, my family inspires me to always dive deeper and romanticize life, in all stages. To find beauty in the ordinary. My goal is to do the same for you – whether that is telling your story exactly as it is or bringing a vision you have to life. I want to meet you where you are and highlight both this moment in time for you, your union or your family as well as where you are going. My greatest motivation as a storyteller is to hold space for you to be truly seen, heard, and understood. I am simply a vessel to witness you, being you.

From the moment you book, I want this to feel easy, natural, and enjoyable. Once we lock in a date, we’ll chat about your vision—whether that means a quick conversation, a mood board, or just going with the flow. I’ll guide you on location, timing, and overall vibe so you feel fully prepared.

Once we have a plan in place (location, time, and overall vibe), the shoot itself is relaxed and intuitive. I’ll provide gentle direction when needed while also allowing space for natural movement and authentic moments to unfold. Whether you’re here for branding, self-expression, or something more intimate, my goal is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and seen.
This isn’t about stiff posing—it’s about creating images that feel real, honest, and uniquely yours.
I don’t have a strict number because every session is different. I focus on quality over quantity, but I also don’t hold back—if it’s a great shot, you’re getting it. Most galleries include anywhere from 35 to 75+ images, depending on the session length and flow.
I’d rather give you more than enough to choose from than hold back on moments that deserve to be seen.
No, and for good reason. The photo taken by the camera is not the final product. The edit/development is often just as important. Therefore I consider the raw files as unfinished works of art.
I take on a select number of clients each month to ensure that every session receives the time, space, and creative energy it deserves. Because of this, my standard turnaround time is up to four weeks. I believe in delivering images that feel intentional—never rushed—so you receive a gallery that truly reflects you.
If you need your images sooner, I offer a priority editing option with a 5-day turnaround for an additional fee. Let me know at booking if this is something you’d like to add.
I totally get it—being in front of the camera can feel a little unnatural at first. But don’t worry, that’s where I come in. My approach is guided but effortless—I’ll give you just enough direction to feel comfortable while still letting things unfold naturally.
You don’t need to know how to pose. I’ll guide you in a way that feels organic, so instead of worrying about what to do, you can simply enjoy the experience. Before you know it, the camera will feel like an afterthought.
